Uncle Ben's (Almost Daily) WRITE 436 - 2007 11 30 South Wartzor

Peace,

Today I got a letter confirming my reservation

at the local nuthouse (just kidding)...

"I could have been someone", -well so could anyone!

Many dream of becoming "someone". But in order to dream you have to still be asleep. I'm glad that God kicked my butt when I was half asleep, He did it because I was heading down the road to disaster. (Depression, booze, bad memories and all that jazz). He pulled me to Himself, and I responded because I wanted to find the truth instead of another bottle. I was tired of living, fed up with all the bull in today's society. The world had absolutely nothing interesting to offer me. Nothing at all, I'd been there, done that, traveled around the world only to find that people are just as stupid all over the planet.

Torsk (Cod) , Photo © Fred Skymberg

Religion, science, tradition, politics, humanism...nothing works...

It's all a bunch of nonsense. Then into my life comes Jesus all of a sudden, wipes my slate clean and I'm back at square one! "Wow" is all I can say, I'm born again. Everything they told me in Sunday school as a little person, suddenly comes true. There really is a God, He really has a Son AND even another one walks into my life...someone nobody told me about! The Holy Spirit, our Helper and Comforter. God is ONE, there is no Catholic Trinity.

Holy Spirit shines a light on the Bible and makes me see things I've never seen before, even if I've seen the words, I had never "seen" the meaning, before the Holy Spirit shone His light on God's word for me.

I also see the parallel dimension, all the spirits running around in our daily life messing up people's heads and relations.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

This planet it pretty crowded in a sense, but in reality all people in the world could actually fit in Jacksonville, USA! I’m not kidding, do the math!

I’d never seen those shapeshifters before, I'd sensed them here and there, the evil, the blistering cold mist, their hate. They are afraid of Jesus in me, as I meet their dodging eyes. Their hate could melt led on a cold day. They are not important in any way, but a fact of life.

I was like a blind man groping around in the dark, with mere words to guide me.    All of a sudden I found the light, so that I could see clearly for the first time in my 21 year old life. I saw Jesus and I understood His mission, and saw what our basic calling is. We hit it off like a house on fire. Jesus keeps adding stuff to my agenda. Now I'm out there performing and praying with and for people who want Jesus into their hearts. I'll pray with anybody, at any time (within reason), just ask.

Uncle Ben's (Almost Daily) WRITE 435 - 2007 11 29 South Wartzor

Peace,

The Bread of life. John 6:22-59 New Testament.

Jesus is the bread of life. Jesus was born in Bethlehem and isn't it funny that Bethlehem means "House of Bread" in Aramaic, one of the languages Jesus spoke on Earth. Naturally you can pray to Him in any language.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

Jesus has the spiritual bread that we need, to grow the inside man.

His words are like bread for our souls. If we follow His words we will see God the Father and live forever. Jesus left His last will and testament for us, receive His grace and live. Those of us who receive Him into our hearts will live for ever, although we have to die once here on Earth. Our death here on Earth is nothing to worry about, God has given each one of us a certain amount of time on plane Earth, no more, no less. When it's time for us to go, we go, not one day before, if we live for God.

As we receive Jesus and the Holy Spirit into our lives, we change.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

We shed our skin and out pops a new person, basically a big baby at first, like a butterfly. That's the way God planned it. That's why we need the bread of life, so that we grow quickly. And we also need to drink the living water that the holy Spirit wants to fill us with. When it overflows we start splashing on those around us and they in turn find God. We get to know Holy Spirit as we do our Fathers will, after we have received Jesus into our hearts. Without the Holy Spirit, we bang into walls all the time, that's why we need Him (He knows where the walls are).

Uncle Ben's (Almost Daily) WRITE 434 - 2007 11 28 South Wartzor

Peace,

I wish God would set my tail on fire.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

That would make me move with a case of urgency. I live in the sticks, so I don't even see people every day. But I feel for those in town, lost and sad inside...like I was before I met God. Some won't even listen, it seems like some are very afraid of trying God. Then there's a weird bunch who desperately try to talk people out of even "trying" God. They are exceptionally evil people, since they want to deny others the chance of finding what they are looking for. I'd stay away from people like that. Their punishment will be severe, according to God.

Then there's a group who the devil has tricked into believing that they are good, and they will make it just because they haven’t killed anyone.

They think that they can sit and poke around in their navel lint all day. They have no love for others and think that a deed – now and then –    will secure them a place in Heaven. I feel really sad for them, because they will never see Heaven. A deed will not save a single soul, it never has, never will. Only Jesus can save someone, He died in our place so that we could inherit the Kingdom of God through His unselfish act.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

Luckily there are brave ones out there who try God, and find inner peace and happiness...and above all their calling.

You have a calling even though you might not know it! We all do. God has a blueprint for every single human being. Everything is planned, if we find God's plan for our lives, everything will fall into place. His plan is sometimes fantastic and something we could never even    imagine. Some are predestined to lead millions of souls to God, while others are supposed to help in the kitchen. God needs all kinds of people, every single one is precious.

Uncle Ben's (Almost Daily) WRITE 433 - 2007 11 27 South Wartzor (revised)

Peace,

Sometimes you have to forget yourself,

and just do what God tells you to do.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

I used to feel that my write was a burden a while back, since it's taking so much of my time. But there are thousands of people (+12.000) bouncing of my pages every month, so I feel I need to share what the Lord is putting on my heart. Besides He hasn't told me to stop...on the contrary.

God comes first, and that's naturally the way it needs to be. Things can easily become an old habbit so it's important that we stay on our toes so that we can hear God, when He tries to catch our attention regarding new challenges in life. Our calling can change with time, God might have new assignments for us today than what He had for us 10 years ago. But we often act like the Irish man looking for a parking space:

(---Paddy was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place.    Looking up to heaven he said, "Lord take pity on me. If you find me a parking place I will go to Mass every Sunday for the rest of me life and give up me Irish Whiskey!" Miraculously, a parking place appeared. Paddy looked up again and said, "Never mind, I found one." ---)

The children of the "world" are busy pampering themselves, trying desperately to fill their void after God with things and activities. Naturally that will never work. You can push yourself in all kinds of extreme activities to feel rushes of all kinds, but there is nothing like the love of God. When God fills your heart, you know what living is about.

I'll never forget when I met the Holy Spirit for the first time! Wow, what a blast. I never thought Id get to meet God physically like that. There are no words to describe it, I've tried and tried but it was so awesome that it's impossible to convey the joy, the love and the power.

The other day I suddenly remembered that I had given my life to Christ when I was 14 years of age. I'd completely forgotten bout it. There was a meeting in Vasa, led by the Swedish evangelist/singer Jan Sparring. When he gave the altar call I responded. I did feel that my sins were deleted, but since I received no kind of guidance the whole thing faded with time. I lived my life on the border line, I never got to know God personally. When I tried to read the Bible, I used to start at the beginning BIG MISTAKE. I always fell asleep reading about who married who zzz...it got me nowhere.

Then in the summer of -75 I met a dude Dan Ådahl the older brother to the singing brothers from Edin/ Ådahl.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

Dan gave me a new testament called The Way, and probably told me that I could start reading anywhere in the Bible. This got me reading God's word. I've told the story before but, then I started to really look for God. I noticed that God says that we need to get baptized in water as a symbolic gesture that we have left out old way of living. I also noticed that Jesus got baptized by John in the desert when He was a grown up, so I did the same. I went to a summer camp for Christian youth on an island called Svartholmen. I told them that I wanted to be baptized, and they placed a call to Helsinki. Then a dude from some church came out to us on the island, and with him he had some weird dresses that looked like ladies underwear.

He told me that it was a custom to wear them when being baptized, I said "no way". I thought to myself that "why should I wear a drag queen outfit"? I was never a transvestite. The dude tried to convince me to wear them, but being straight I said "definitely not"!

Lucky for me, they skipped the religious nightgown and I was baptized in my plain clothes. Not much changed in my life after this, but I continued looking for "something", I still hadn't found what I was looking for. I did find what I was looking for at a Bible school (Örebro Missionens Bibelskola) in Örebro, Sweden.

Or should I say just after school? Some friends (I didn’t really know them) told me to meet them just to say good-bye. I went home to them and around midnight they asked if I wanted to pray before we left. I was very disappointed since I still hadn't found what I was looking for.

Then all of a sudden a girl began singing in tongues (in an African language which she did not speak in the natural). Then she got the translation in Swedish and it went something like this: "It is I the Lord and I'm anointing you with my power". Then all of a sudden ZAP! an incredible force hit my body from the top of my head to the souls of my feet. I could not feel the chair I was sitting in! It felt as if I was floating in the air on my back, in an astronaut's take off position (in space). The power kept pulsating through my body, it was the Holy Spirit.

It was the most wonderful feeling I have ever felt, and I felt God hug me as I sat in His lap "somehow". There's no way to describe it really. But that was only my first encounter with God. I have encounters with Him on a daily basis now, sometimes strong sometimes just mild, but hey are all wonderful.

I urge you to try Him, you'll never regret it. Ask the Father in    Jesus name,    to reveal himself to you!

Uncle Ben's (Almost Daily) WRITE 430 - 2007 11 23 South Wartzor

Peace,

What's love anyway?

Photo © Fred Skymberg

Every day I hear people saying "I love you", I wonder how many really mean it? I pray constantly that I would learn to love more, especially those who hate us (Christians). Life is short, I hope I can optimize my life, without going over board. I don't think that God wants us to stress, I think that He wants us to relax in Him. Not to be lazy, but just to find a balance that works.

Many people I know are frustrated over the fact that they have led very few, if any to the Lord.

All we need to do is to tell people The Good News. After we have witnessed, it's up to the ones who heard us to decide what they want to do with their lives.

Read John 5:24

There's not a whole lot we can do other than heal people in jesus name and share. Naturally we need to live clean lives for the Lord and love those around us. Talk is cheap, so naturally we need to help them practically also in any way we can.    When we help others, we really help ourselves. That's how it works for me anyhow. I feel blessed after helping others, even if some tell me to take a hike afterwards. I don't care what people say, words are only words to me. If people put me down it just runs off me like water runs off a duck, I just don't give it a second thought. The world is full of bullies, so what? Who cares, they will get theirs in the end, I don't have to waste energy on them in any way.

Relax and let the Lord take care of business.

We don't have to defend the Lord, He can take care of Himself . One thing we need to do is to obey when the Lord sends us impulses to do things, that's how we grow. If we don't obey, we will dry up spiritually and be good for nothing but fuel.

John 14:6

Read Mark 12:1-11, it's a parable about Jesus and the one's who paved the way for Him.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

1 He (Jesus) then began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a pit for the winepress and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.

2 At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants to collect from them some of the fruit of the vineyard.

3 But they seized him, beat him and sent him away empty-handed.

4 Then he sent another servant to them; they struck this man on the head and treated him shamefully.

5 He sent still another, and that one they killed. He sent many others; some of them they beat, others they killed.

6 "He had one left to send, a son, whom he loved. He sent him last of all, saying, 'They will respect my son.'

7 "But the tenants said to one another, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'

8 So they took him and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.

9 "What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.

10 Haven't you read this scripture: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone (cornerstone, Ben)

11 the Lord has done this,

and it is marvelous in our eyes?"

I Just quote the Word!

Sketch for an oil painting from 1975 © Benjamin Antell

I know exactly what will happen to me when I die. God told me and I believe Him. He also speaks through the Bible, and the answer is very clear there too. Don't believe liars when they tell you "everything will be all right", because everything will not be all right if you don't have Jesus in your heart when you die.

Why NOT try God?

You will find out that He is a loving God who loves you more that you can ever understand. Don't waste your time on the sorrows of the world. Try to help those you can and tell them about Christ. That's the only thing that matters, that they get to know Christ. All the rest is just a bunch of baloney. We often have a ball at church in the anointing.

Here I am surprising the audience and myself drumming away.

When the anointing falls it's like Heaven, it’ss so cool. Everything changes when Holy Spirit is around, the music starts to flow and hearts melt, all bad things are forgotten. I even forgot which song I was playing.

Spirit of Cancer...

If we abuse alcohol, drugs, medicine and smoke, we are lightly to attract diseases like cancer etc. Sickness and death are just natural results of sin.

Drawing © Benjamin Antell

Others play around with witchcraft, horoscopes, Ouija boards, Yoga, TM, fortune telling etc. They often ends with "psychological problems" (these are actually "spiritual problems"), others even get physically ill at the end.

God loves us all but He naturally hates all these vile games that the devil has given us. I don't think that God is punishing us, I think we get ill as a natural result of our sin and disobedience most of the time. Promiscuity leads to many diseases like AIDS, HIV etc. they are only a natural result of our sin. Some of these ills will even lead to psychological problems (in most cases just another word for spiritual problems). They are a direct result of our egoistic way of life (sin). The wages of Sin = death.

Satan hates Jesus and is afraid of Him, since he knows that he was defeated at the cross and that Jesus has all power in Heaven and on Earth. Satan's power is restricted to what "WE" let him do on Earth!!!

Photo © Fred Skymberg

If we worship him or simply ignore Jesus, then satan can do whatever he pleases with us, since we are no longer under God's protection.    Even worse... If we legislate and enable certain groups in our society the right to sin against God's word, then we automatically give satan the right to mess with our entire country!

We no longer stand under God's protection in that case. If we give satan one finger, he will never let go, just like a mink won’t..

Don't leave a hook in that thing!

It's vital that we let the past go. Don't suppress the bad memories, they will pop up every time the snow melts. Forgive and forget, just like Jesus did. Ask Him to carry your burdens which He is only too willing to do, let go of it all and receive His peace.

The world has no real peace to offer, only synthetic solutions like tranquilizers, bling or mind games. Receive the peace that only Jesus has to offer, that way you'll be able to handle anything that comes your way.

Peace,

Some cool passages from Peter in the New Testament:

Photo © Fred Skymberg

I Peter 3:13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?

14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear ; do not be frightened.

15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

17 It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,

19 through whom [fn4] also he went and preached to the spirits in prison

20 who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,

21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also–not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

22 who has gone into heaven and is at God's right hand–with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.

2 As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do–living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

4 They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you.

5 But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

You might not get a second chance, this is certainly my experience. The same goes for the times when the Holy Spirit urges you to pray for or with people, you might not get another chance. It can be serious business. For every action there is a consequence.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

When you lead a person to God, he/she might in turn lead his/her whole family to the Lord, and they in turn... It's like a line a Domino effect. You'd be surprised how much can happen just because of one person saved. Some people put off doing things until they get older, not realizing that they might not be able to do it later. Many get ill in different ways, other go broke, and some even join the Choir Invisible. We don't know how much time we have, so don't put off today what you believe in your heart that you should do today. Naturally I'm talking about good things, things that will build others or yourself up.

How can an evil minority have so much power in the USA?

Photo © Fred Skymberg

The answer is naturally, Spiritual Warfare (read Ephesians 6). The Ten Commandments are taken down from Court house walls, prayer is forbidden in schools... When "in God we trust" is deleted from the dollar bills, America will seal its doom. If America is ashamed of God, then He will most certainly be ashamed of the US.

America is committing Hara-kiri. God has blessed America and elevated it above other countries partly because of its forefather's faith in God. Now an evil few are bringing America to it's knees, it will certainly cease to be the world power it once was, if the people won't humble themselves before God. Will God turn His back on the US, just as in the day's of Lot?

Photo © Fred Skymberg

I don't think it's too late for America. If there are enough men and women who will stand up for God and take back what the devil has stolen. It's important to pray and stand fast in the Word. God is listening...

Jesus will always be my Lord and Saviour. I could never imagine a life without His company. After all, before I met Him I was totally disillusioned, I had nothing to live for. In Him I have Eternity, I have a purpose in life, and something to look forward too.

I understand those who go crazy and reap havoc.

Portrait of Darwin © Benjamin Antell

The school of today teaches us that we are nothing but animals, and that when we die we become nothing. Basically what they are saying is that we eat, fart and die. This is what pushes many over the edge, having nothing to live for and nothing to look forward to. It's only natural... If we are only animals, then why bother to be considerate, helpful or moral? There would be no reason to be orderly. Without God we are just an evil brood, that's why some give up and go hay wire when faced with the prospect of nothingness. The only reason why God does not kill us now, is that He promised Noah that He would not destroy the world again! God always keeps His word. Sometimes we can hinder His mercy by living in total darkness (sin and disbelief). But Jesus is always there for us, if we repent and    receive Him.

Palestine means the land of the Philistenes!

Photo © Fred Skymberg 2007

Philistia (later Palestine) was coined by the Romans, because they wanted to humiliate the Jews. History tells us that the Jews hated and fought a people called the Philistines and vice versa, the hate was mutual. When the Romans found this out they renamed Israel = Philistia, since they were occupying the land of Israel at the time. The philistenes were sea faring people, not arabs, and they lived in the Gaza area.

Yes, they it's here now...unfortunately. A Finnish Columbine copycat posted his ramblings on youtube 2 days prior to his mayhem. Naturally nobody in Finland took him seriously, as a result 9 are dead.

I'm sure that we unfortunately will see lots more violence in our schools in the future. The really sad thing about the incident is the fact that most people don't understand why it all happened. Born again Christians know that the boy was inspired by evil spirits to do his evil deed. Naturally there are a great number of Besserwissers out there who think it is crazy to believe this, but that does not change the facts. Now the spirit or spirits who duped the young boy, are freely roaming the streets of Finland looking for prey.

Finland is introducing Eastern religions

as an alternative in schools.

God hates it, but we just keep on. I guess we will soon have Mosques and other pagan temples in our land. The more demi gods we bring into our midst the further from God we get and the more violence we will see. He has kept His mighty hand over Finland for a long time because it has been a Christian country…

God hates all the demi gods worshipped in this country, just as He hated the idols that the children of Israel worshipped way back when. The end result was always mayhem, wars and death.

Please pray for Finland, especially that the spirits who caused the mayhem will be bound from doing any more harm in this country, as they are currently roaming our streets looking for their next victims.

Casting out demons is common in church!

We don't even mention it much, since it's nothing like what Hollywood portrays in it's silly movies. People are simply set free through prayer, it often happens so quietly that very few even notice it. Whenever God's word is preached with power, spirits get scared and leave, that's just how it is. Sometimes they might sound like old crows as they leave, who cares as long as the go? In churches where the pastor isn't a born again Christian and only talks about the weather and brotherhood (humanism) etc. there is no freedom. There are dead churches as well as "alive" ones. If you look to join a church or even better a congregation (a free church), see to it that you find one where they take God at His word and really love each other.

We can't go on drinking milk all our lives.

Read hebrews 5:11...

Warning Against Falling Away

We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Chapter 6

Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, [fn1] and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so.

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are confident of better things in your case–things that accompany salvation. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

I think the word speaks for itself...

It's sad to see people who only come to church to get highs, some never seem to grow. I do realize that some of us need highs too from time to time, but all the time? And what about the people around us who don't know God, how is He going to save them if we tell them nothing about Christ?

Peace,

I was just asked if I wanted some "friends" on Myspace.

They claimed that Christians are afraid of almost everything and that the Bible is a load of cobblers.

Photo © Fred Skymberg 2007

Weird that they should ask me to link to them, I met God way back in -75. I don't hate other people, nor am I afraid of anyone or anything. And I believe that the Bible is God's word, He certainly uses it to speak to me. The Bible is like an answering machine, when I pray and ask for guidance.

What's the point of making preachers look bad?

Nobody is perfect on this planet. I don't agree with everything that for instance pastor X says, but that does not make him a false prophet+ Many are those who have received Christ through his meetings, so the "fruit" of his work is holy.

People have always fallen over here and there at meetings since the dawn of time, there's no way you can stand when God's power, the anointing hits you. What's so weird about that, that's just the way it is... I almost fainted when I met God, who would have thought?...

If there's no love in the House of God what good is it?

When you criticize your brothers and sisters in public, all you do is cause division. People who aren't Christians can't tell the difference between us, they just think were all a bunch of loonies, fighting about this and that.

Like I've said a million times (figure of speech), you CAN'T read the Bible as just another book. You need to pray that Holy Spirit will guide you as you read, otherwise you will no understand much, it's just not possible. The Bible is the inspired word of God, not something a bunch of old weirdo's whacked together on a weekend in the hills.
