Peace, When Jesus returns to Earth again, EVERYBODY will see Him as He comes!
Those who don't know Him will be terrified, and the rest of us in perfect bliss! Matthew 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. There will be no doubt about it, so don't let anyone fool you. Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the distress of those days
" 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'[c] 30" At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. We will know when it's about to happen, even if we won't know the exact date. (Nobody except the Father knows that). Matthew 24:32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[d]is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation[e] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. If you see some fool with a sign saying that the Lord will come at a certain date, don't believe him. Matthew 24:36" No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Stay alert and don't try to fool yourself or the Lord. He knows everything about you, He can read your mind better than you can. We often live in denial in certain areas in our lives, God can see through that...so stay on your toes. We should obey the Lord at all times, not only when we "think" He is looking :-) God is a loving God, don't be afraid of Him. He doesn't want us to do things for Him because we are afraid of Him, He wants us to obey out of love! Matthew 24:42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Peace, My 24" monitor caught fire today.
All of a sudden there was a flash across the screen and a ZAP! inside the monitor, then there was smoke. Ces't la vie...it happens. Now I'm using my old little screen again, it's a good thing I kept it in the attic. You can't do that with your faith. All the gifts of the spirit (if you got that far) will dwindle away and life will become like a desert. I've been there, man it's slow work getting back to the well. I guess it will take ton's of prayers until I get to know the Lord again like I used to, and then I have to get beyond that, to find God's perfect will with my life. I'm desperate to know God better, nothing is as cool as when you really walk in His foot steps. I really dig this supernatural life He has given me. I've lost all interest in the house altar (TV). The closer I get to God, the more time I want to spend with Him. I don't really care about the rest, the world will keep on turning without me :-) I was going nowhere fast, and I really don't miss that. Sure I was making a lot of cash for a while, but I'm not into that any more. Life is so much more interesting now. I'm not saying that everything is coming up roses all the time, but I don't care I just want to press on with the Lord. The main thing is that I find out what He wants to use me for. And it's all the same to me what it is, as long as it is His will.

Peace, Who hasn't seen this pose in Action movies?
Cho a totally insecure young loner with no Christian values, brainwashed by Hollywoodian dreams of fame etc. It's clear to anyone with a few brain cells that this boy is copying Bruce Willis in Last man standing and a hoard of other movie thugs. He even got the gun type with instructions off the movies. If he had never seen an action movie, his life would probably been totally different, and 32 lives would have been saved... Who knows what the poor guy went through before he snapped. Many get disillusioned after coming to the States. If you come to a land of promise, and get stuck in a small apartment and hear racial slurs day in and day out, what good can come of it? Many of these killers like Russel Weston in the Capitol building 1998 was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic... People like that will not get well, until we call the problems by theirreal names. A paranoid schizophrenic can not be healed through medication! It's not possible because there is no such thing as a sickness called paranoid schizophrenia! For a person wrongly diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic, the only help available is from God, because it's a spiritual problem. Any born again Christian (even a child) can pray for a person like that and set him free in Jesus name. If the person with the problem turns his life around and receives Christ into his heart, these vile spirits will never return. Until people realize this, nothing will change. Killings of this nature will increase, there's no doubt about it. It's not only Hollywood's fault of course, it's the American society and Godlessness in general. I'm not saying that America is worse than the rest, but there is tremendous amounts of guns on the streets and in the homes, just waiting to go off. When you are unstable physically, you are an easy prey for the spirit world. You are easily open to suggestion from spirits etc. If you begin nurturing their weird ideas, you will find yourself living them in a short while. One should never nurture destructive ideas, like robbing a bank, killing people, stealing, acting out violence etc. I knew a guy once who started thinking about stealing things. After he had talked about it, and thought about it for a month or so, he finally did it! That's what happens when you give nourishment to evil thoughts. This is just one example that I've witnessed. Instead of thinking these thoughts you can tell them to go away in Jesus name. It's not good for people to live alone.
We all need to be a part of a social network, we need to care for each other. I've noticed that in my own life, as well as in the lives of many of my friends. I live out in the bush, there's literally nobody out here. I noticed that after many years of beating around the bush I began losing my social skills. Interacting with people became kinda hard, so I decided to go back to church again. It had been a while because I never found a church around here that I was comfortable in. Lucky for me I was dragged by a friend to a church in Kvevlax, 15 km's from where I live. It turned out to be almost what I had been looking for, the only minus is that it's a white church :-) Being a pink honky myself, I love black American churches because people are much more open in them. Nobody is afraid what the guy next to them might think if they jump and shout for joy...that's what I like. And I also like it when the music rocks, so that I can get into it. We have a lot to learn from our black brothers. After going to Missions Kyrkan (church) in Kvevlax for 2 years I'm still not ready to jump around, but I can feel it coming :-)

Peace, Why do people fall over at meetings? It's very simple, when God's Holy Spirit falls on people, it is sometimes impossible to stand. The power of God is so awesome that you just keel over. It's a wonderful feeling. There is nothing on Earth that I can compare the feeling with, so if you want to experience it, you will have to spend time with God. You might even get lucky and have a personal encounter as soon as you get to a church where they preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People who have no spiritual lives, often say it's of the devil.
They also compare the manifestations of the Holy Spirit with manifestations of evil spirits, in say Africa etc. That is a dangerous comparison to do because we must not grieve the Holy Spirit. Some are bitter as rag water against those who have experiences with God. They are often jealous, and scared of trying God for themselves. There is no way we can explain "how" the Holy Spirit does what He does. There is just no way. All we can do is trust Him and receive it. The power is also referred to as the anointing by some. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is a wonderful deep thing, it is no respect a shallow thing based on feelings, like some say. I wish I could be under the spirit all day, its such a marvelous thing. The Holy Spirit often ministers to us while we're under his anointing, once He healed me from a back injury. I'm sure that He also has healed me from all kinds of spiritual defects. He is like a doctor, but He goes deeper that any earthly doctor. I'm sure that people fell over when Jesus prayed for them also. Were such a silly bunch of stuck up people... Jesus did many "to us" weird things, like spitting in clay and mixing it up and putting it on a blind man's eyes. Would you do that is the Holy Spirit urged you to do so? Jesus spat one guy in the eye :-) He got healed though... We are so afraid of what people might think...
Naturally the blind man got his sight back! I wonder if I would do a weird thing like that if God told me to? I even used to be afraid of laying hands on people to pray for them, how silly is that? I've noticed however that God touches many whom that I pray for, perhaps not everybody, I just don't know, but I often feel His spirit fall as I pray for others. It's a great feeling to be allowed to be used by God, even it it's in a minor way. I'm in awe every time, and I'm very grateful. It's got nothing to do with me of course, God can use anybody who has a willing heart. I can't pray long beautiful prayer, I just get to the point pretty quickly and that's it. I remember a guy (who turned out to be an x-minister) telling me to continue, "you'll be fine, given time" :-) In other word in his eyes a was pretty lousy :-) Others tell me to PRAY LOUDER! I can't always do that because I get so emotional many times when I pray for people that I can hardly speak :-) Like I've said before... I've noticed that to God it doesn't seem to matter what I say, sometimes his anointing falls as soon as I open my mouth. He knows what we are about to pray as we start! All we really need to ask for is for His will to be done. Here is what happened to Pontus last night :-)

That's pretty heavy stuff for most of us. It should be done in secret. We are not to boast about what we do to help other. We are to keep it to ourselves, if we want to receive a reward from the Father. I don't think we are supposed to help people because we want to be rewarded either. I think we should help people because we love them. Forgiving Others It's so easy to judge others. We all seem to think that we are better than others, at least that's what it sounds like when people judge each others... Very few see the whole picture. It's easy to see what's wrong with Joe, but hard to really know what we ourselves look like through the eyes of others. When we condemn others, we automatically condemn ourselves, from God's point of view. Think about it, it's scary. 37" Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Peace, A friend of mine is getting baptized tomorrow.
Photo © Fred Skymberg He met the Lord about a year ago, and now he is ready to the the plunge :-) It's an important symbolic step to show the world that he has changed his ways. He is now living for the Lord instead of the world. Some are baptized as babies. That's silly, because a baby can't make his mind up about anything. Some people are so afraid or proud that they miss out on the blessing it is to get baptized Mar 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Peace, It's too easy to go wrong in life...
It's a real shame that people are so ignorant. You could all have Eternal life through Christ, just by receiving Him into your hearts. It's so simple that many refuse to believe it.
I had an uncle who told me that he just couldn't believe that God would forgive us our sins. My Uncle is dead now, and I guess he didn't make it. All it would have taken was a short prayer. The gangster on the cross next to Jesus, just asked Jesus to remember Him in Heaven. That was all it took that time, Jesus said "today you shall be with me in Paradise". How about that? I'm so glad that God pulled me to Him because I'm pretty "slow". God really had to drag me, and He did. If He wanted me that bad, I'm sure that He wants everybody. In my own eyes I was a worthless piece of garbage, still would be without God's grace. Now I'm a piece of meat that He uses now and then, when I'm not too stupid to understand what He is telling me to do... But then again, if he could use a donkey to talk to a stubborn prophet, then why not use me :-) For some reason God loves to use idiots. Perhaps the reason for this is so He can show that He can do anything. I mean using me is like transforming road kill into a Thanks giving turkey, only God can do that. Here's a prayer that WILL get you to Heaven, if you're smart enough to say it :-)
Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that God raised You from the dead. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, the peace of God, and the joy of the Lord. Give me a passion to reach the lost, a hunger for the things of God, and a holy boldness to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm saved. I'm born-again. I'm forgiven and I'm on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart. Thank You Jesus! See what I mean? :-)

Peace, Why the long faces?
Why doesn't God always answer our prayers? I don't think God can answer our prayers if we live in sin. Sin can be a lot of things. I'll just list a few obvious ones: - living together without being married, cursing, backtalk, gossip, being mean to people, being judgmental, playing saint, being sexually involved with somebody of the same sex, being disrespectful to your spouse or anybody else and so on. Basically anything that God in His word tells us not to do will hinder our prayer results. Naturally we can choose to follow the Lord or not. That is entirely up to us. But if we ignore His commands, we can't expect nothing from God...read my lips NADA. 2 Chronicles 6:38 and if they turn back to you with all their heart
and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray
toward the land you gave their fathers, toward the city you have chosen
and toward the temple I have built for your Name; 39 then from heaven,
your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their
cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you. God is not going to change His rules, just because some smart whatnot goes and changes the Bible to be "more in sync" with 2007. Naturally there is no such thing as "more in sync". That won't change God's agenda, it is totally meaningless to do a crazy thing like that. Either we follow God's Word or leave His presence! There's no but's about it. We can't really come before God with a baggage like this. We have to sanctify ourselves, and become serious about our faith in God. When we come to the Lord in prayer, the key word is "Your will be done". God already knows all that we need or want. He has a plan for our lives, and if we live in Him He will look after us. We have to spend a lot of time in prayer daily. I know that those who have gone far, have prayed for many hours per day. They often get up around 5 in the morning, and start their days with prayer. We have to be focused and dead serious about our commitment. When we come before the Lord we need to be dressed for the occation. I'm talking about our inner being. We have to be totally cleansed with the blood of Jesus. We can't come to the Holy place if we have dirty clothes or if we are naked. We have to live clean lives, we have to do what we can and God will take care of the rest in His Grace. Nothing we do should become a ritual. We need to have a dynamic companionship with God. God becomes our husband when we truly commit our lives to Him. Don't you think He will look after you if you are His bride? Sure He will, God always keeps His word. Remind Him of it and He will act, because He loves us! God wants dedication. We have to pick up the cross, when we do so, our lives will turn around. Another cool thing about being in God's presence is that the devil can't come. You don't have to mention that dudes name again, because he has no right to mess with you when you are in God's presence. Just forget about him. Peace, I'm thirsty for more! I know I have wasted a great part of my life, on things that I should have left alone. That's what happens when you don't live 100% for the Lord. You think you'll be OK, that you're a fairly nice guy etc. But that's not what life is about. We need to pick up the cross. What does that mean? It means to die from ourselves and rise up in Jesus. It means to listen and wait on the Lord for His instructions. No matter how long it takes... It means that we should not neccessarily do what we love, but instead ask the Father what He wants us to do. That does not mean that we should sit on the porch zzz until we die.
God is clear about the fact that we need to tell others about what we have found. There's so much to be thankful for and so much to share, as we wait for the main calling in our lives. Use whatever little gift you have or it will wither and die. Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. I'm thirsty for more. I don't want to be a bench warmer, I want to do God's stuff. I want to be God's bell boy. I don't care what people think or say about me, I just want to do my Father will. I learned one cool thing from Mick Jagger once. He said it's best to write down all thoughts as they come (he was talking about writing songs). You can always edit the text later.
Photo © Fred Skymberg I'm not a Rolling Stone fan, I think they stand for something evil. Especially their Sympathy for the devil song. They play it even though bad things happen at their concerts when it is played. The song is surely anointed by the devil himself. Like I've said before...It's very hard for me to find good music to listen too, since I don't like to listen to songs where they put God down. Some bands swear a lot, and I think that is sad, boring and silly to listen too...like The Strokes. They have really nice rock songs but the lyrics are very depressing to listen too...and they swear a lot. I'd never buy a record like that. Bob Dylan is one of the few that I still buy records from. I still don't like white gospel records, they are so lifeless and predictable.

Musically I like Love and Theft the best, but it's sad that God is mentioned so rarely these days. The lyrics are cool but not very enlightening. I wish Bob would record more Gospel records, I'd buy every one. They are great presents as well. God bless you Bob. I give Slow train coming 5 out of 5 possible Uncles I give Saved 5+! Peace, Blessings = Money? Many seem to automatically think that a money is a blessing. Naturally it can be, but God can bless a person in many ways. It seems however like most people only think about blessings as monetary. God can bless us with health, a good spouse, children, nice weather, cool neighbors, a wonderful Christian life, healing both spiritual and physical, etc. not everything has to do with money. There's so much talk about money that I almost get nauseated by it all.
Mammon god of money It's weird how strong the demi god Mammon's hold is on most people. He must be one of the strongest demons. Everybody wants money, and most people seem to want to become rich (financially). I don't think being rich is something to strive for. Everybody seems to want a nest egg. Nobody seems to be satisfied even though they live comfortable lives, everybody wants more, more, more, and more. Nobody seems to be grateful to the Lord, for what they have. I wonder why that is. If you already have food on the table and a roof over your head, what's the big deal about money? I remember when lived in Stockholm and received my first paycheck. After I had paid the rent, I had stacks of money left, and I remember thinking "what am I going to do with all this"? It was a lot more than I needed. It's cheap to live when you live by yourself. I painted a lot in those days, probably from 5-6 in the evenings until about 4 in the mornings. I knew that was what God wanted me to do, at least at that time. Some of that art is here...just press the X. I really didn't feel that I needed more money at that time. I was happy as long as I had canvases and paint. I guess I'm still pretty much the same, but now other people put demands on me to cough up cash :-) Some say "if I win on the lottery, I'll give a lot of money to the poor". I don't believe those people for a second. I've seen people make lots of money, they always go weird and greedy. They never give anything away. The more they make, the more greedy they get. God wants us to give 'til it hurts, not just from our leftovers :-) How many are ready to do that??? Not many, that I can assure you of. I know of one exception, a friend who inherited some cash and gave away a part of it to another friend. But that is VERY rare. The guys were both Christians, that can make the difference. I'm not saying that all Christians are generous, we are only people too, but it happens. Very few want to get out of their comfort zone.
If you really want to help, what's stopping you from doing it right NOW? Not much I bet, but most people want to stay at home and watch TV instead. That's because most people only think about their own comfort, and don't give a rats behind about anybody else. Do you? Most people pretend that they do :-) I'm not saying that I'm a wonderful generous person. I think I'm a slime ball, saved by grace...but since God can turn manure into ice-cream, I'm sure that he can use me too :-)

Peace, I know a guy who is a giver.
He is a Christian guy (I'll call him Edwin), who likes to help people. I don't think people realize what Edwin is doing because he never mentions anything himself...just like it says in the Bible "don't let your left hand know what the right one is doing". Matthew 6:1 “Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. I read about a rock star who gave 50 bucks to a pair of poor people digging in a dust bin. That was a nice thing he did, but when he told about it, he lost his blessings from the Lord. Instead he got his blessings here...because a few people will think that he is a swell guy. Matthew 6:1 “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. I only found out about Edwin by chance. I'm sure that Edwin is not giving away stuff just because he wants to get blessed either. He's just a kind person who wants to do whatever the Lord urges him to do, I could tell. I'm not saying Edwin is a saint, nobody is, but at least he is spreading some joy and paying for it as well. He will get his blessings in Heaven anyhow, by not telling anyone what he is doing on Earth. I'm telling you this because, so very few give away anything in their lives. Most people just take and take and take. Some people are so crippled that they don't even give sympathy or love (which is free)...now that is really cheap!
Just practice brotherly love until the lips work. You don't need to be a pervert to kiss a friend :-) I know that Edwin gives away stuff that he really likes himself. I remember him giving away a new guitar that he had ordered while he was economically viable (he is a musician), which was exactly what he wanted. Someone he knew had talent but no money or guitar, so he gave it to this person in hopes that it would be a blessing. The musician he gave it to was a Christian entertainer. I know of at least 2 fine guitars that he has given away. He also gives away other things and sometimes money. I know that he isn't a rich man money wise, in fact he is not economically viable any more. He used to be hard working and pretty well of until he had a turn of bad luck, but that's another story. I wish there were more persons like him. Just think how nice the world would be if people were generous. Some people just give of their pocket change, which is OK, but others give until it hurts...now "that's" giving. Some prefer to give money, so that they don't have to step out of their comfort zone, that's just silly. I don't think that kind of gifts come from the heart. That sounds more like a bad conscience Then there are people who give away stuff with ulterior motives. They "give" because they want people to feel that they "owe" them something, now that is like getting presents from the devil himself...yuk. Have you given something nice to somebody lately?
If you are cheap, just a cheer might help somebody. Many things are free, like love, sympathy, hugs, kisses, kind words etc. when you hold back these things, you know that you are really cheap.

(To bear fruit means to witness to other people and lead them to God) 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. (This means that we can't do anything without the Lord. We have to live for the Lord, not for our own pleasures, we need to put God first in our lives) 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (If we don't spend quality time in prayer and reading the Bible every day, we will wither away and become useless for the Lord) 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. (I don't think God is talking about material things here, like fast cars and big houses. I think this is about what we need to take the Gospel further) 8 This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing

Talk is cheap! Do you REALLY love your brothers and sisters? What have you done for them today? It's so easy to say "I love you", but if there are no actions behind the words, they are totally MEANINGLESS! You don't need to be a genius to figure out that talk is cheap. If talk is all you have, go suck an egg.

Peace, I needed something more tangible than a theory or an ideology to go with God.

I didn't know what I was looking for when I went to a Baptist Bible school looking for the meaning of life. I was not a Christian at the time, nor was I a Baptist (I'm still not :-). I just asked my Mom if she thought that Baptists were OK. She wasn't really sure, but said that they seem to be pretty much on the right track (Mom was a Christian). Not much happened at the school per se, but I could feel a different atmosphere there, which was very positive somehow. I don't know if you can give God ultimatums, but I did. I told Him that if nothing happened at the school, I would later try to take my life by drinking as much alcohol that I possibly could...for as long as it took. I was fed up with this world at 21 years of age, I was pissed off at everybody except Sixten (my drummer friend) and my grandmother Elizabeth and I thought the world was a toilet, ruled by mental patients on a sea of chaos.

That would be TOTALLY impossible. You can't deny meeting someone that you have met, that would be impossible. This is something you can experience too! This was only my first real encounter with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. There have been many since then. The Lord speaks to me on a daily basis, it's a wonderful life. Even though everything isn't coming up roses all the time, He keeps the dialogue going. Some things He explains, and other things would be easier to squeeze out of a rock, but He is always there for me. Today He told me to tell you about what I just wrote. It will probably touch someone out there, since it was meant for someone special, as well as all others who listens. If you want to know the meaning of life and/or want to meet God yourself, say this prayer and it will happen! I kid you not. Stay open and God bless you. Peace, Britney Spears on the news again, I really feel sorry for her for losing her way, like she and many of her peers. She thinks that she has to revamp her body for a million bucks to be accepted again. Looks ain't everything baby :-) I don't mean to put Britney down by writing this, I love her just as I love all creatures, except dogs. Everybody seems to be in such a hurry, running from one ditch to the other at supersonic speeds. There is no balance in peoples lives. God loves us the way we are, warts and all :-)

The only thing that really matters to the Lord is our hearts. If the heart is good and filled with the Holy Spirit, then there will be light in our lives. Ephesians - Chapter 3 :16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. With the Holy Spirit comes honesty, love hope etc. Perfect love in Christ drives out all fear. We don't need to be concerned if people love us or not, that is of no consequence. The only thing we need to be sure about is that we are honest and true, and obey our Heavenly Fathers will. The rest is hog wash.

Some people build walls around themselves... Bad thoughts can often grow like yeast in manure, if given the right of way. That's why it's important to stop thinking and living negative. Your whole life can take a weird turn, if you give bad thoughts nourishment. If somebody has done you wrong, forgive him/her. If you don't forgive them, they win! The memory of their bad deed(s) can slowly strangle you until you can't take it any more. If nothing else remember this, we are all equal on this Earth. Nobody is more valuable than anybody else! You might not think tat you have accomplished much, but we do what we can, and the Lord takes care of the rest. We are not all called to change the world. Some of us might be called to do things which to us might seem very mediocre, the main thing is that we obey. What might seem mediocre to us could in fact be momentous in the BIG picture. Who cares if somebody else gets the last word, that's totally meaningless! Let them "win" if they want to, keep your peace. Let them live in their dreams. Pray for them that God will have mercy on them and wake them up at some stage. It's so easy to get on one of those deadly tracks going round and round...all of a sudden your life is over and then it's too late to do anything about it. I'm grateful that God rattles my tree now and then. I used to be a very egoistic fellow when I was younger, naturally I didn't see it that way myself. We all live in denial, or ignorance for a large part of our lives. Some never wake up which is sad.
Some blame others for their mistakes all through life. I have an old aquaintance who ALWAYS blames others for all his mistakes. He has done so for 40 odd years. He never seems to change. I have never heard him admit to being wrong. He has very few friends, and I'm sure he feels like crap inside. He must be one of the most insecure people that I know. He called me up this summer for the first time in 10 years or so, nothing had changed in his life...he was exactly the same. I'm sad for him. I'm told that he has given me a new term of endearment "asshole". I don't know why, and I certainly don't care :-) All I can do is pray for the guy, that God will shake his tree one day, and that he will see himself the way he is, before it's too late. Naturally the book faded with time, and I let the world hold on to one of my legs for a long time. Luckily God saved me (again) just before I was pulled under though, For this I'm truly grateful. Peace, The difference between God and Man. If you have something that others might need, like a cool bike, surf board, car, studio, summer house, fishing rod, lots of money etc. "Friends" will tell you whatever you want/need to hear, for as long as they need you... After they have what they were after, they are gone (you are dead meat)...some might even turn on you! That's how low people are in general. Almost anybody will be your "friend" as long as you are economically viable, if something goes wrong...watch out! That's why God's friendship is so cool. He is the one who wants to be "your friend". He is the one who looks for your friendship. There's nothing you can do for Him really, because He is in control of everything, and He can take care of Himself. He has everything except your love, and that is what He is looking for, just because He loved you first. After all He sent His own son Jesus, to die in your place, for your sins. If that ain't love, what is? Some fools say that they fight in God's name, and blow up people.
There is no need! God is a BIG BOY, He can take care of Himself. He does not need defending or your help in that respect. They only way we can help (ourselves) in dire situations is to pray.
Who cares if some call you a square? I know it sound silly to some, but if we do, God will do His thing in us and for us. Many times we don't understand what God is doing and why, but I'm glad to say that he knows exactly what He is doing. His Holy Spirit will guide us as we pray. I'm telling the truth. Rev 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. God might perhaps sometimes be flattered that people want to help, because you normally defend those you love. But really, what do you think you could possibly do for Him??? (Then there are people who confuse God with Allah the old moon, sun or desert god (as he also is known to be called), but that is another story. I've written about Allah earlier, since people due to ignorance refer to him as god). God (I am) is only asking us to trust in Him, and to honor Him. After all He is the Creator of the Universe, and His son is King of Kings, son of David from Bethlehem. God is worthy our thanks. Peace, Reincarnation.
Some people believe that they have lived past lives. That is not true, nobody has. Reincarnation is just another thing, that the evil one has invented just to mess up our heads with :-) Reincarnation comes from the Hindu and other eastern religions. The Hindu's and drug addicts believe that you are reborn as something nice, if you have been a "good" person, and that you are basically reborn as a slimeball of some kind if you have been bad. The invisible world of spirits around us, try to fool people into believing stuff like this. It's not strange since they have been around us almost since the beginning of time. I know this sounds crazy to some, but it's a fact. The spirits have walked beside us through life, just like they walked with our ancestors. They know all our darkest secrets, and the secrets of people that lived before us. The spirits can mention places, names, times and happenings that have occurred all over the world since the beginning of time. Because they were there when it all went down. They were at the concentration camps, they were at Golgatha when Jesus was crucified for all mankind. They were by Hitler's side in the bunker, they were at Carl Sagan's bed as he left this Earth. You name it, they have been there and seen it all. They know what you have whispered in the night, they know everything. That is why it's so easy for them to trick us into believing that we have had previous lives. There's really nothing strange or interesting about it.

Naturally it's hard for people who don't know God to understand these things, since you need the Holy Spirit to see what the spirit world is all about! I just thought that I should try to explain why people believe in reincarnation, since so many do. I'm sad when I hear tricked people describe in detail what the spirits have whispered to them. These thoughts can ruin a persons life, and that is what reincarnation is designed to do. Once you are hooked, you'll have a hard time to break free. Naturally God can set you free from anything. Just ask in Jesus name, and receive Christ into your life. All your doubts and fears will vanish, just like that. Because there is no fear in Christ. 1 John - Chapter 4 :18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. Rom 8:15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. For some reason drugs play a major part in spreading the belief in reincarnation.
The reason for this is probably that, when you are under the influence of drugs, your guard is down and the spirits can simply walse into your mind and body. Naturally God can set you free from drugs also. If you want a clean slate (a new life), try this prayer. If you mean what you say God will hear you, good luck. Christ gave His life for the you on Easter. For you he was hated, beat up and killed. He took all your sins and mistakes on Himself, and died in your place like a criminal. He Himself being totally innocent of any crime in the Universe. Thanks to Jesus, you can come before the Lord and state you case. Whatever it may be. God will listen to you because of what Christ has done for you. Jesus must have loved you oh so much to give His life for you. Think about it. Would you have given your life for a complete stranger? He gave up everything for you. Jesus could have said no and lived a life in luxury, but thank God he didn't. He had no ego whatsoever in Him, He was totally free. You too can be freed from everything, "if" you receive Him into your heart. If you accept what Christ did for you, you can inherit the Kingdom of God! Jesus left you His last will and Testament, so that you could become rich beyond belief. I'm not talking about mere futile things like cash, I'm talking about living forever in luxury and style and above all in love...I'm talking about Heaven.
I don't think all of us are supposed to be filthy rich on Earth. But Heaven will be completely different, that I can assure you of because I know God. ( Not that we will need money or things there, but God has promised that Heaven vill be a comfort zone :-) Remember you are an heir to a Heavenly Estate! If you want to receive your inheritance totally free of charge, receive Christ as your Savior today, while you still have a chance. Here's a prayer I put together for you (in case you've never prayed before, it happens). Peace, Why pray?
The famous guitarist John MacLaughlin practices scales for 8 hours per day at least, the rest of the time he said in an interview that he just fools around with the guitar. That's what I call dedication. What if people were just as dedicated to the Lord? I'm sure we would see tremendous results. Naturally I'm not talking about meaningless repetitious prayer just for the sake of it, but a deep personal prayer of commitment. We need to pray for our families, our friends, our country but also for our enemies. This can take hours, but I assure you it's worth every second. God often tells me what or whom to pray for. I also pray for a few guys that have treated me very badly in life. It's very important that we pray because we love the Lord, and not because we feel that we have too. If you are praying just for the sake of it, go do something else instead. In that case your prayers are meaningless. You might say "but I don't have the time". Sure you have, it's all about priorities. We only get one chance on this Earth, so why not use it wisely. Most people are very short sighted and just want to have a good time...living "in the flesh" as the Bible calls it. I used to work 16hr. days for many years...what an idiot I was... Many will reap destruction in many cases, because they never listened to the Lord. They only lived for themselves, they never thought about others. I'm not talking about presents and birthday cards or money. I'm talking about "time" and true love. If we don't love the people next door, we don't love God!
It really is that simple. Not many seem to get it. Jesus gave his life for Joe next door! He died on the cross for that guy. He was beaten and mocked and kicked in the face for that guy. What have you done for your neighbor??? ??? ??? 1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

Peace, Rock and Roll. If you are into music just for the money, think again. For you to succeed you have to have as much luck as a guy winning the lottery. Do you feel that lucky? It's not necessarily about the music, and it's certainly not about skills, if were talking about popular music. It's all about image, about playing monkey on stage, doing "what it takes" :-) Even Jimi Hendrix had to burn guitars and jump around like a fool on stage. Some of my friends died around 40-50 years old, without "making it". They all dreamed of becoming rock stars. They practiced guitar, while their friends were outside playing, getting married, getting jobs, raising kids and buying houses. All of a sudden they were 50, with nothing to show for it. They were lonely, excellent musicians in many cases, but out of jobs, livers and lives. Many of them lived hard lives, trying to emulate the life styles of their idols.
Naturally not all rock stars drink half as much as they pretend to do! They have a reputation to live up to. A silly reputation, but still. Others on the other hand some barely stay alive with the help of expensive doctors. They are living wrecks. What's that to strive for? I'm extremely grateful to God for looking me up and saving me when I was 21 and tired of living. The Lord has been good to me. I've only made music that I really like. I've never made music for money, I've been truly blessed. Now I don't know if music is what I'm supposed to continue with. I'm willing to give up everything, and to take up the cross and do my Fathers will if He wants me to do something different. He has given me a few assignments lately, that have been not too exciting. I'm going to obey Him for a change, keep my ears peeled. I feel like it's time I asked the Lord what I can do for the Kingdom, instead of asking for this and that. It's never too late to make a U-turn in your life!

(Editor) The book is a compilation of Eyewitness Reports from the Azusa Street Revival. It's an interesting book to say the least. It was a present from Jimmy Bock, a good friend of mine. Anyway, they didn't take up any offerings at their meetings, nor charge for anything. God met their needs anyway. That's how I've always thought that it should be. We should look to God for our daily bread. I believe that if we live for God, He will take care of us. I'm glad to say that I don't worry about tomorrow. To many this will sound crazy, and not very logical :-) I don't care, I never liked the business side of it, in fact I've always detested it. Greed is so ugly, sometimes it almost turns my stomach to see how greedy some people can be. I know I'm not perfect either, but at least I'm trying to do something about it. I've always seen my music as musical leaflets pronouncing the Good News. I remember handing out leaflets (tracts) in the mid 70's when I had first met God, just like Frank Zappa by the way. I know I have mentioned him before. But I felt that handing out records would be much more fun, almost everybody likes music...and what better way to spread the Good News? Here's a list of songs from 3 of my albums that you can download (so far) for FREE if you like. It's OK to copy and spread them too, you have my permission. I still own the rights to all my music, even though I've had recording deals in different countries. Since most of my records are sold out at the moment, I don't think that any company will mind... 1 Be Bop Dun de Dum.mp3 (Release Waam 002) 1996, This was a breakthrough CD, the record is a mix of electronica. Most instruments were played by hand though! We mostly used the sequencers as tape recorders, without quantizing anything, even though there are some loops. The track God in my garage was on MTV Europe for many years! The track "There's a God in my garage" is also released by n'soul records in Hollywood, California, on their ELECTICA 3 1999 CD. Box Americana

1 Flowers in my hair.mp3 (Release 2006-7) Waam 009, New!) This seems to be my most popular recording to date. My old friend and CO-founding member of Ben Antell Band, Sixten Sandvik plays the drums, and I (Ben) play all the other instruments. The album is a mix of Hi/Lo Fi, it has a live rock feel. I will add the other recordings to my site later, when I find the time :-)
