Peace,

1975

Here I am with my first Living Bible (The Way) which got me into reading God's Word in the first place. It was given to me by Dan Ådahl who also ended up baptizing me in water that very same summer. I don't remember who took the photo...Linnéa perhaps, we were at her place for a break from Örebro missionen's Bible School.

The 70's gang: Ben, Linnéa, Odhe, Doni..eh...and two more (s-sorry girls)

There are many translations of the Bible. If you want a broader and more exact picture of God's word, it is important to compare different versions. Translators who are not spiritual make more mistakes. Feminists are trying to make our Heavenly Father into a woman...go figure. Some groups are even trying to erase the connection between the Old Testament and the New one. I'm afraid there will be many weak translations coming out in the future, as we drift away from the Word of God more and slip into the sea of lull. We really need the Teacher Holy Spirit in our lives if we want to know the truth!

Peace,

Prayer can turn most things around.

I got many prayers answered yesterday. I guess a lot has o do with "how" you pray. We often pray very egoistic prayers, "gimme this", "gimme that" :-)

Sometimes it's good to think about "what" we pray for and why before we pray.

Most of the time the devil's hard at work trying to drive in wedges between us, many times through trivial things like money. The accuser loves to use all kinds of mundane trivia to split us up, especially if we are doing something for the Kingdom of Heaven.

I pray most of the time I guess.

I do it so much that it's become a life style. I bless peoples homes that I enter, the Bible tells us to do so. I pray for many of the people I meet during the day, while I'm walking in the street or riding my Hot Rod :-)

My Q'ld Redback, fast as a speeding bullet :-)

I'm also a member of a fairly new prayer cell. We were 4 a while ago nr. 6 joined yesterday. God is doing great things in peoples lives. I'm so thirsty for more of God that it's silly, I'm like a sponge sucking it up as I go along. God's been good to me.

Like I've said before, fasting is the key to many prayers.

If you are in church and feel like you ought to pray for somebody, go do it! It's most likely God urging you to do so and if it's not, what have you got to lose except your silly pride?

Matthew 4:2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. (about Jesus)

Mark 1:13 and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.

Whatever you do, don't let the devil get you, Uncle Ben

Peace,

How important is your word to you?

¬

My word means everything to me. God has told us in His word how important it is that we keep ours, just as He keeps His word.

The Lord would be worthless if He didn't keep His word. He would be like seaweed waiving to and fro on the bottom of the ocean. I really don't like those kind of people, it's no fun being around them.

The demon of Greed is a truly ugly one.

¬

he even smells bad...

Some take back their word in a flash if it means losing a buck. It's happened to me many times... :-)

Proverbs 28:25
A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper.

It's very important not to get bitter at people who let you down for different reasons.

Bitterness can make you ill, even physically. It's important to forgive AND forget. There is a demon called bitterness, I would not want to let him a room in my heart.

God knows he used to live here for a while. He came in through a back door once, when the Holy Spirit turned on the lights I kicked him out in Jesus name. When you've got Jesus backing you up there's no limit to how much ass you can kick in the spirit world.

Ephesians 4:26-27 Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.

23" Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,

24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

Peace,

1740 Holy laughter,

When I watched God's servant Rodney Howard Browne on God.tv this morning, Mr. Browne quoted John Wesley from a book...

¬

He read "many were offended" because of the mighty Holy laughter in the Spirit which occurred at a particular meeting in 1740!

Many claim that Holy laugher is a new fad from America, nothing can be further from the truth. I'm sure it occurred in Jerusalem, in Israel at the day of the Pentecost as well.

I'm so glad God saved me when I was 21, I see so many lost souls wasting years and years searching in all the wrong places for God, without noticing the He is just a prayer away!

Peace,

I have again found a new friend who's just stopped drinking.

It's silly how desperate the devil is to try an get him drinking again.

My friend has been offered free booze and all the money he needs from some stranger in town. He is a lonely man and many know it, so the other day he was even offered a woman by the man with the money.

Another guy told him to stop going to church and to join AA instead. Since AA has failed to help him in the past, he declined the offer.

Then again it's ALL a spiritual war.

Ephesians 6:12. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.

I bet my friend has a cool calling since the devil is after him so diligently.

Luckily I've never had any problems with alcohol abuse myself, but I remember that I couldn't stop smoking. God took care of my smoking habit as soon as I accepted Christ into my life. The craving for tobacco just whoomed outta here like a burning squirrel.

It's so clear and typical that the devil should look for our weak spots.

That's why it imperative that we get close to God. We need to climb the mountain (Christ) because the devil's arrows can't reach us once we make it to the top, with God's help of course.

If you have already given your life to Christ, read God's word every day in prayer. If you do, the Holy Spirit will guide you as you read.

I watch god.tv almost every day, it's so good. Naturally there are sometimes people on there that have a few strange views, but most of them are cool, like Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, Rick Joyner and Rodney Howard Browne etc.

Peace,

We have to become like children.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

God wants us to become like children so that we can receive his gifts more easily. Many times we are so strict and laid back in church that God can't touch us. This is mostly due to pride and fear, "what will the others think"?

I get pretty frustrated when some Christians say that the devil is the one who makes people laugh in church.

Why the Hell would the devil make somebody happy??? (s-sorry about the language, but I'm pretty angry at those spirit dead religious dried up California raisin' kinda guys). They mock the Holy Spirit in their folly, and sow division in the church. And for what?

Don't tell me that everything was done in an (to us) orderly fashion when the Holy Spirit fell on the apostles on the day of the Pentecost. Bystanders thought that the apostles were drunk...

Acts 2
The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.

6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

7 Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?

8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?

9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome

11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!"

12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine.[b]"
Peter Addresses the Crowd

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.

15 These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning!

16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 " 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

19 I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'[c]

22 "Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

23 This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,[d] put him to death by nailing him to the cross.

24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.

When we let go of our pride and praise God with all our might, we will see change and life in the church.

Another thing that is holding Gods blessings back, is the fact that we stay within the church walls too much, when we really should be out there with the good news more.

Church has become a play house for many Christians, I have a feeling that we often go there to enjoy ourselves more than to minister to others. Of course we need to go there too to get our thermos filled, but to only go to church and forget about the lost is stupid.

I really think that we should go out into the world more and talk to people, many thirst after God but they don't know who to ask for help. I noticed that when I handed out tracts, many were interested in finding out more about God.

So why don't we get off our booties more and go out there, time is short and many suffer for no other reason than the lack of guidance.

Peace,

You need to check out Rodney Howard Browne on god.tv!

His meetings are so anointed with the Holy Spirit... Many will not understand what they are seeing. When the power of the Holy Spirit falls, it's just wonderful. It might look weird, but I assure you it's not. The atmosphere is just awesome, God is doing great miracles in peoples lives.

God is pouring out His Spirit in these last days.

Rodney is just one of many sanctified men used by God. God uses anybody who wants to serve! He can use you too, as soon as you have received Jesus into your life.

It's important that we give the Holy Spirit room, so that He can do His thing at meetings.

Sometimes when He is given no room, and the preacher is just babbling away, nothing good can come of it. The preachers who understand to stand back when they are supposed to do so, will have a greater ministry.

Peace,

I'm glad that God is finally raising up female preachers.

Female teachers/preachers are often very direct in a refreshing way. The Christian women whom I have prayed together with trough the years have been very bold. Boldness is something very important in prayer.

We need to understand that we have great authority in the spiritual realm through the blood of Christ.

It's important to focus when in prayer, and to take command in Jesus name over obstacles in the spiritual world.

I find it hard to take priest seriously, when they run around in clothes that look like something that my grandmother used to sleep in.

I rarely visit the type of churches where they do everything by their "own book" every time. Tradition can become a ball and chain round your leg. It's hard for God to do His thing if He has no room in church!

The State Lutheran church of Finland and Sweden is one of those cold churches, where male and female priests fight like silly little spoiled children about their right to stand in the pulpet.

I wonder if God means anything to them?

Unfortunantely many of the female priests are evidently head wobblers who are up there simply trying to make some meaningless feministic statements by becoming priests. I'm not saying that male priests are better. I say good ridance to them all. Iif they can't get along what good are they for anything?

In many churches, everybody makes a run for the car as soon as the sermon is over.

I think that says a lot about the church. If people don't want to stay and talk to each other after the service, where is the brotherhood? There's no way the parishioners will get to know each other that way, and especially not on a spiritual plane.

Some think that simply going to church will give them points with the Lord :-)

How silly is that? Going to church is not going to earn you favor in any way, wake up me boyo.

Many churches have so many activities that God has no room in them at all. I know it sounds weird, but that is often the case. I stay away from those churches, because they are dead as door nails.

Luckily there are many good churches out there, you just have to look until you find one.

If you want God to interact with you during church service, choose a Bible based church which gives God lots of room :-)

Peace,

Suicide bombers are promised sex with 72 virgins in Paradise.

Sounds like an egoistic motivation, to kill for sex and riches and masking it as if it were in the name of some revolution... That "Paradise" sounds a bit like the Red-Light District in Hamburg, Germany. God help us...

I'm very grateful to be born in the West.

Photo @ Fred Skymberg

It's kinda scary to think about whom I might have been if I had grown up in an Islamic nation. I would probably been tricked to kill Jews since infancy.

Who knows, if I were denied a formal education, I might have gone bonkers and blown up lots of innocent people just to get to have sex with a bunch of tarts in "Paradise"...

There's no point in dwelling on the "injustice" here on our cursed Earth, since "we" are the ones who rebelled against God in the first place...

We are all guilty!

Read my fangs...We are living the curse that we created.

I know this might sound strange to some but after meeting God personally I learned this:

The Creator "I AM", has sent His only son Jesus, to die in our place, for our sins, so that we might have eternal life.

Jesus, the King of the Jews, gave His life for us because He wanted to do His Fathers will. He did it out of the goodness of his heart, and nothing else.

I will follow the teachings of Christ until the end of my days.

He has been so wonderful to me, I can never thank Him enough. He literally pulled me out of Hell. I saw the devil and his works and I was not amused.

AC DC sing that Hell is not a bad place to be.

To sing something like that you have to be a complete fool. You have to be totally ignorant to make a statement like that. Angus Young is a very good player, I wish he would try God and see how much cooler life can be with Jesus.

Who in their right mind would want to go to a place where they can't say or do anything except suffer?

I wouldn't, that's for sure. And I know that Hell exists, because Jesus has told me so. I have also heard a female opera singer once.

Jesus was down in Hell and snatched the keys, after He had been crucified, so we who believe on Him don't have to go there. He saved us the trip, thank God.

He has saved me from going there, and you "if" you will receive Him as your Savior and King.

Here is the key to Heaven instead, it's yours for the asking:

Dear Lord Jesus,

Come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that God raised You from the dead. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, the peace of God, and the joy of the Lord. Help me to forgive those who have hurt me! Give me a passion to reach the lost, a hunger for the things of God, and a holy boldness to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm saved. I'm born-again. I'm forgiven and I'm on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart. Thank You Jesus!

If you said the prayer from your heart, Jesus has saved you! Look for an alive church, so that you get fellowship, nobody makes it on their own. Keep looking until you find the "right" one. Like Rodney Howard Browne once said, "a dead church might bury you" :-)

Many have asked me about their past sin(s).

God has promised to forgive us our sin. When He forgives us, He wipes our slate clean, he formats our hard drive, He will no longer mention it...it is totally forgiven for all eternity. That's why we should also forget it.

If somebody holds you to some old sin of yours, it is his problem, not yours.

Peace,

Many of us go on Cruise Control after meeting God...ZZZ...

I'm afraid that won't work very well in the long run.

We all grow (hopefully) with time, not only older but also spiritually. What God told you to do in 1947 or 2002 "might" not be what He wants you to do today.

We all need to stay focused more on the Lord than on our calling.

As we are honest and true in small things, God will give us greater responsibilities. Sometimes He might even tell us to do entirely different things than we've been called to do so far. When that happens many think, that can't be true...-" it must be my own imagination". That's the flesh talking, we need to get out of our comfort zone on a daily basis.

We need to talk with God for however long it takes...hours, days...whatever.

We often rely so much on our own abilities, that we forget how mighty God is.

If we do "His will" instead of what we simply "like to do", or have grown accustomed to do God can do great miracles in our lives. God has no limitations, He can do whatever we let Him do through us.

If He told me to go to Greece or Iceland tomorrow, I would leave ASAP, because I know that His will is the only thing that counts in the long run.

I also know that if I don't follow it, I will be miserable on a deeper level. I also know that if I don't obey, His anointing over my life will get weaker, and that is the last thing I want.

Peace,

There are many busybodies out there, running the devil's errands.

Some people are envious of others because they "think" that they have a lot of money or "think" that they are using their income wrongly. Some even spend huge amounts of time getting petitions done against certain preachers etc.

James 4:11 Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. 12There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

What a waste of time.

Photo © Fred Skymberg

We can't know what the rich do with their income, and it doesn't concern us. Just because somebody refuses to declare where all the money is going, doesn't necessarily make him/her a crook!

I'm not saying that all Christians are perfect, but I would never accuse anybody based on a suspicion, it's not my job...only God can truly know what is in the hearts of men.

James 5:9 Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

Ask God whom to give your tithes too and you won't go wrong!!!

Pretty simple rule eh :-)

God tells us in His word "not to tell" when we help others. If we do, people will bless us for being good...and eventually we lose our blessings from God instead. I'd much rather have God bless me than a blessing from mere man.

Matthew 6:2-4"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

God will punish the unrighteous.

It's God's job to punish crooks, not ours. The crooks will get what they deserve eventually, we don't need to worry about that. What is it to you anyway? Are you a perfect human?

To the silly accusers:

Why don't you do some good with your life instead of hounding your brothers?

Don't you see that you are wasting everybody's time, and planting seeds of doubt into peoples minds? The man in the street is easily going to automatically lump all Christians together and dismiss us all as greedy bastards thanks to a fool like you.

Matthew 20:15
Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?'

Many rich Christians give away money, cars, planes, houses, food, time etc. to people in need on a daily basis.

"My dream car" Uncle ben © Gustav Frantz

2 Chronicles 31:5
As soon as the order went out, the Israelites generously gave the firstfruits of their grain, new wine, oil and honey and all that the fields produced. They brought a great amount, a tithe of everything.

It is very common! God commands us to help those in need. Should the generous have to be punished by some envious (probably greedy) lowlife with sick petitions?

Acts 10:2
He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.

Get a life baby!

Peace,

John Lennon announced to close friends in 1977 that he was a born again Christian! (from christianitytoday.com)

Sadly Occultist Yoko Ono talked him out of it, which means that she NEVER loved him in the first place. Being a Beatles fan in my youth, I always wondered why she was after him, now it is very clear...poor John probably never found love among men/women on planet Earth

What a terrible disaster his life must have been. People wanting things from him all the time, the drugs...he did refer to his life as Hell. I bet that he felt that he had to pay his way through life, since the world is full of greedy people.

Here's a link to the full story: Lennon born again

Lennon wrote songs like Talking with Jesus and Amen (the Lord's prayer set to music) during his short time as a born again Christian.

- Some say that you can't be born again for a while, sure you can. YOU decide if you want to continue or not, God will never force us to do believe, that is why we have a free will.

Being a young Christian with no Christian friends, Lennon was pretty easy prey for satan.

That's why it's so important that we belong to a church and have Christian friends. If we pray alone we naturally get answers to our prayers, but if we pray with a friend(s) we are much stronger spiritually, and God can do greater things through us.

I used to pray a lot for John especially after I was born again in -75...I just remembered that I used to pray for the Beatles before I even knew God. Sometimes I thought that I was a Christian even though I didn't know God. I didn't know then that you could actually have a personal relationship with Him, and I didn't know who the Holy Spirit was. Nobody told me anything of value, when I was young. Come to think of it most Christians still don't :-(

I wish I had been more diligent... It's very important that we pray for those who God urges us to pray for. God tells us in His word to pray all the time. It's easy to do that if we pray in tounges quietly while working etc.

Tounges is a language that the Holy Spirit gives us.

It is a spiritual language, but sometimes it can be a foreign language as well. A language that we have never learned! In those cases the prayer is often for the benefit of someone else in the room.

I remember my dad used to speak Arabic sometimes while praying in tounges. It took him many years to find out by mistake that he was praying in Arabic. One day as he was listening to the radio, he heard some Arab say exactly the same words that my dad used to pray. My dad jumped out of his seat in amazement :-)

John had just converted, when evidently satan (through Yoko) misled him again. He had probably not yet received the Holy Spirit into his life. If he had done so, he would probably never have missed the train.

Once you meet the Holy Spirit, there can be no more doubt in you life. It's impossible to doubt the Lord after meeting the Holy Spirit, totally IMPOSSIBLE!!!

As far as Yoko is concerned...

Magic is of the devil (the "ex preacher" who lost the spiritual battle for all time). Of course there are spiritual powers in some artifacts from Egypt! There are occult powers and spirits in many things, but they are no good to anybody, they are simply a waste of time. After all the guy behind the powers is satan and he has lost the fight against his Maker.

What's so fantastic about casting pagan spells, and moving things without touching them?

Many Wicca's/spiritists/mediums/witches/magicians feel fantastic when they sit and stare at an object, trying to move it with their mind...then an invisible evil spirit (who is probably bored to death) moves it a few mm's...and the meditating fool thinks he/she did it, it's so incredibly pathetic :-) Even if you did manage to move a flower pot with your faith or whatever, what's so fantastic about that??? To me it's meaningless.

The only reason that spirits bother to do stuff like that, is to keep people occupied with BS so that they won't look for the real thing (God).

After all millions of people are daily fooled by the spirits, and sit around meditating on objects and ideas given to them by guru's of all sorts, who in turn have been tricked by the spirits (fallen angels).

Some guru's know that they are led by the devil, since some of them do sell their souls on purpose. Some are in it for money and free sex etc.

Just think some people sit in temples all their lives, banging gongs and burning incense, only to wind up in Hell after their death. They live totally meaningless egoistic lives.

The "blessings" they deliver to people are "curses" form the pits of Hell.

Never receive a "blessing" from a follower of Eastern religions or cults! A "blessing" like that never comes alone...your life will be contaminated by it! Only Jesus can set you free through prayer.

Some people are so ignorant that they don't even notice anything, others get cancer, headaches, depressions and all kinds of problems due to the demonic powers behind the "blessings".

I remember a pastor friend of mine in Sweden who left for Africa, once there he bought or received a fetish as a souvenir. When he got back home he got chronic headaches, nobody could help him. Once day he realized that there was a curse connected to the fetish object, so he threw it into a lake, and his headache went away.

Another pastor friend of min (also Swedish) went to India. Once there he decided to check out a Hindu temple. Once he got there a priest or whatever walked up to him and put a red mark on his forehead, like they do over there. Immediately he got a depression which lasted for a long time until he was prayed for by Christian brothers back in Sweden who knew that they were fighting a curse.

The fallen angels know that "no matter what they do" they are doomed, so they have nothing to lose.

That's why we have so many religions and time consuming nonsense in the world.

The dome of the Islamic temples has a writing that says "God has no son", that makes Islam AntiChrist.

There's no doubt about it, that's why I think it's totally preposterous that some say that Islam is a sister faith to Christianity. It is nothing of the sort, it is completely AntiChrist. Any faith that declares Jesus to be anything else than the Son of God, is AntiChrist. The Qouran was wrtten about 600 years "after" the Bible. That's why it partly resembles the Bible. Mohammad copied names and stuff from the Bible and twisted everything around to suit his purpose.

Jesus is no prophet.

Jesus quoted the prophets of the Bible all the time, because the Bible is God's Word. Jesus is God's only Son who died for your sins. If you like, you can become a son of God too, by saying this prayer from your heart. You have to mean every single word.

It's remarkable how God pulls us to Him at a certain point in our lives. “Evel” Knievel used to jump over busses, cars, the Grand Canyon etc. with his bike, when he wasn't in a rocket of some sort :-) Evel used to entertain us by risking his life.

All of a sudden when he was 68 years old he received Jesus as his personal savior, as a result 5-800 people came to the Lord when he appeared on Robert Schuller's Sunday service at the Crystal Cathedral.

Read about Evel's conversion to Christianity here at the bottom of the Wilkipedi page here: "Evel"

Peace,

God is pouring out His Spirit on the USA like never before.

I wish I had a car like this, for daily use © Frantz

Things are happening in the spiritual world all across the globe. In countries where people are less proud and more open, like in the US God is doing mighty works.

Check out Rodney Howard Browne's meetings on uk.god.tv for instance.

To some the meetings might look odd or weird, I guess you have to be there to understand. When God's Spirit falls, people often fall over or start to laugh, shake etc. Since God meets everybody individually (don't ask me how He does it) there are many different reactions.

It's not the outer manifestations that matter, it's what happens inside of man that counts. God is healing people through the Holy Spirit, He is talking and ministering to our spirit. Who cares how He does it? I certainly don't, if He wants me to stand on my head in church by golly I'll do it! Who cares what some stuck up arrogant "know it all" thinks or says?

We don't have much action in churches here in Finland, because the spirit of pride is so common that it's hard for God to do His thing. God chooses to work through us, so He needs us to surrender to Him.

Many of us worry about what the guy next to us is going to think if we let go of our feelings, that's why God can't work.

Others like to hold on to what they think are secret sins, like getting drunk once in a while, smoking a joint now and then or hanging out with other women/men even though they are married etc. In other words they are living in the flesh, in sin and defending it as if it weren't important.

It is crucial that we live "clean" lives for the Lord.

We can't fool around during the week, and play saints on Sunday in church. God sees through us, He can't use us if we love the world.

I'd like to go to church every day.

Since God woke me up again after one of my slumbers, I'm so thirsty for more of Him. He is so awesome, I can't wait for next Wednesday when I get a chance to go to church again. I also attend or hold a prayer cell once a week. Perhaps I should join or start another one as well...

There is nothing more fun than when a person meets God. I wish all my old friends would meet Him so that I could see them in Heaven.

Luckily we won't miss anybody once we are there, because God is going to wipe our tears. Heaven will be a place of constant joy and wonder. I know this because the Father has told me so, and I don't doubt Him one bit :-)

Whatever you do, don't let the devil get you, Uncle Ben

Peace,

We keep thinking that God will change, or that we can change Him.

God's never going to change, no matter what we say or do God will never change. That's the beauty of Him in the first place. God is the only thing in the Universe that will never ever change.

God is totally dependable, in other words the opposite of politicians and everybody else for that matter.

It doesn't matter to Him what we say or do, how gross we become, how far we fall, or if we exchange Jesus for Donald Duck in the Bible.

God tells us clearly in His word the Bible, what He will do to those who follow and obey Him, and He is also clear about what will happen to those who don't.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There will be no motor boat impressions

on Judgment Day! BUT - BUT - BUT

On that final hour we will stand there defenseless. We can't point to somebody else and say "he did it too" or "h/she was worse than me". YOU are totally responsible for YOUR actions!

Matthew 25:46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

What have you done for God?

If you died today, where do you think you'll go? Why would you assume that God would receive you if you have lived only to please yourself?

1 Timothy 5:6 But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives.

Why would you assume that God would give you eternal life, if you have never done His will? According to the Bible any stranger in need is the same as Jesus. Why would you assume that God would receive you if you haven't received Jesus as your personal Saviour? After all Jesus is the ONLY door to God, according to God's Word.

Religion can't save anybody! It never did and it never will.

You need a personal relationship with Jesus if you want to be saved. All the religions in the world are man made rubbish, under satan's direction. Instead of following God's Word the Bible, man has made up all kinds off ceremonies and laws and rubbish, mostly because it's easier to do a silly ritual than to do God's will. And some people love a bit of bling, nice buildings, beautiful robes, pillows, pots and pans.

"Look what I can do"!

Photo © Fred Skymberg

Many are impressed by bling.

We often build monuments to ourselves, so that people will remember us after we are gone. We like to praise ourselves more than God. We also like to praise the creation instead of the Creator, how weird is that? Just like the children of Israel looked upon Nehustan (the copper snake-symbol of Jesus) to save them after being bit by a snake in the desert, so can we look upon the cross of Jesus to be saved from the devil's poison.

There is great power in Christ!

I wish everybody would understand to receive Christ into their lives, what wonderful lives they could have. I experience miracles on a weekly basis, if I weren't so lazy I'm sure I could experience them on a daily basis.

Camera shy I'd just met the Lord in 1975 © Iréne Elvisson,

I met God when I was 21 years old, He is the best thing that's ever happened to me. He has shown me supernatural stuff that would make some people faint, I'm sure of it.

If you feel an urge in looking for God, do it!

It is God who has planted the urge into your heart, He is the one who is reeling you in! Don't resist the most fantastic experience in your life! It's not even hard to find God. You might not get another chance! If you blow it, you will never see Heaven, remember, we may not be here tomorrow.    Eternal life is not the fruit of your deeds, it is a Gift! Jesus gave His life in your place, because He knew that you could not be good enough to make it to Heaven on your own. Nobody is truly good! If it weren't for the fact that life is a spiritual battle, more people would find God.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The evil one works hard to hinder us from finding Christ, he will do just about anything to distract us. This sounds strange to some people, especially to those who try to work everything out in their head. There is no way you can work it out, it's too simple, it's all supernatural! To see God we must be born again.

When we receive Jesus into our lives through faith, because of the promise of the Father. We need to get baptized in water as a sign to those around us, that we are taking another path in life. We must die from our old nature. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe in the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

This is serious, you will not see the Kingdom of God unless you recognize Jesus here on Earth as your King. Without Christ as our King and Savior, we are like lost sheep. God truly loves us.

He loves you much more that you can understand. I know this because I lost a friend that I loved above all others, man it hurt, I had this indescribable physical pain in my heart for years. God showed me how deep His love for us truly is. He is actually hurting to see you lost!

Peace,

Christian music comes in all styles these days.

When I made my first album Waters in 1981 (officially released by Talking Music in Gothenburg Sweden in 1982) after meeting God. There was already some "modern" Christian music out there, especially in the States. Not that much but some, like Larry Norman (Why should the devil have all the good music). Now it's a completely different ball game. Here's the title track Waters in it's entirety if you want to listen to it, just press: Waters

That way you won't need to listen to people swearing and singing about disgusting things. Christian music is good for the soul, because t builds up your spirit.

When God comes into our lives a lot of things change. Many times the music changes also. I had a friend who played standard rock&roll for years, then all of a sudden he met God, and his music changed. He became very creative! Unfortunately he was lured back to Cannabis etc. by his old    non Christian "friends", so now he is back doing the same old music he made before he met God.

That's why it's important to drop many of the old "friends" when you become a Christian. If they don't love you, they will try to get you to go back to your old ways! They will make you sin against your conscience. Friends like that are no real friends, remember that. If they don't respect you for whom you have become, drop them right there. Pray for them but don't mingle with them. Many will envy you for finding something cool! If you hang around with the wrong crowd, they might easily pull you back down if you are weak and just have met the Lord. Personally I don't understand how somebody could drop God after meeting Him, but it does happen "sometimes". God does requires a lot of our time, just like any good friend. Some people are lazy... I guess you'd have to be super-lazy to leave God.

I added this in 2023!

God taught me a lot about music in 2009, this changed my life. It all began about 2004 when I was performing a lot in church. I subsequently lost all feel for secular music, and in 2006 I stopped recording altogether. I got sidetracked somehow in the recording world. It was all pretty confusing for me to come out of it, because the music I had always loved died all of a sudden. If there is no anointing in the music, I don’t feel like listening to it anymore. There is spiritual power in anointed music that rains down the presence of the Lord and this completely changes the atmosphere! In 2009 I stopped listening to secular music altogether! There’s not a whole lot for me to listen too anymore, since most so-called Christian music also is without spirit. Most so-called Christian artists create music from their soul – instead of through the Spirit of God – this makes music dead. Many    Christian musicians even borrow ideas and sounds from secular artists who often get their inspiration directly or indirectly from the demonic sphere. Anointed music is much more than just music! Musical prowess does not enter into it. There is too much “look what I can do” music out there, both in the Christian and the secular world. Musicians seemingly dreaming of fame and fortune, people’s accolades and praise. This is robbing God of the praise that belongs to him.

Without Holy Spirit music is dead, it’s not just lyrics that make music anointed. The anointing emanates through true worship and praise, not simply through music or word. Nothing can satisfy the soul of a man like the Spirit of God can. Without God there will always be an empty feeling inside the heart of a man. Only God can bring total satisfaction through Holy Spirit our Comforter and Teacher.

Evil spirits & demons.

When you are saved, in some cases evil spirits just have to get out of your body, because they can't stand the light of Christ. Things like bad temper will go, sinful urges will disappear, addictions will go. If you are ill, you will probably get healed at some point in your life. If you are broke, you won't have to starve any more because God will bless you as you do his will.

When Jesus moves in, we are no loger the same. Some change gradually, others are flipped like burgers in a matter of seconds. God reaches us all differently, but we all change when Jesus crashes through our wall of fear etc. There is only one word to describe “the change” with that I can think of and it’s; WOW! God always takes care of those who come to Him. It's the truth. I'm living it!

Peace,

Religion has a strong hold on many churches. As born again believers we have to do all we can to get rid of old meaningless traditions and routines.

We have to let God scrub our old dusty brains.

What's the point of living in the past?

I'm not saying that we should change God's word, just that we should take a closer look at what God actually is saying to the church and the world, and not hold on to some old weird theology that our forefathers conjured up for different reasons. I'm not saying that they were all wrong, but a lot of religious rubbish theology or nonsense has been conjured up from time to time, silly doctrine with no place in God's word.

We need to reach out to the world, and show them that God loves everybody. Nobody is “better”. We should really do our best to really love everybody, without love we have nothing...nada...zilch.

John 3:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(Ps. “one and only” seems to be inserted by someone)

We need to preach God's love to the world.

Those who can't or won't lend a hand should push off. There's really no time left for fooling around.

Matthew 4:19
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

Matthew 9:12
On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a]drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Peace,

We easily get defiled by watching rubbish on the TV. It's more important than many think, to not watch rubbish on TV like Conan for instance.

Of course Conan is funny, that's why he is one of the "chosen" evangelists of filth.

The devil needs people like that, people who aren't afraid to make fools of themselves. After all the devil tries to copy God in every way imaginable.

Why do I call Conan an evangelist?

Because that's the way it works. If you are not for God you are against Him, and if you are against God, you are for the devil. Life is one big spiritual battle over our souls.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Peace,

When we moved to Tingalpa (Australia) when I was a kid, they asked me in school if I played soccer.

Me, my hair and my crazy sister,

between goals in Brisbane one rainy day.

I said "yes"...then they asked me "what position"? The only position I knew of was quarter back, so that became my answer. I knew just about where to stand. I knew nothing about the game really, but I thought I'd better help them make som goals so I kicked the ball as hard as I could and made 2 goals on my first day, from my position in the rear. I was pretty popular after that.

It doesn't really matter if where we are at the beginning of our journey with Christ, if our hearts are in the right place everything will turn out fine. It might take a while, but as long as we share the goal of reaching the lost, we are on the right path.
